Osaka - Day 2

I need to catch up on a few days now. Time flies when you're having fun... :) My time in Osaka is much more laid back compared to what I did in Tokyo, and I think it reflects the difference of atmosphere of the two cities. It's interesting.

On my second day in Osaka, I met with another friend. :) We dropped our luggages at our awesome Ryokan (Japanese traditional hotel) and went to have lunch and see Gantz while waiting for check-in time.

Lunch was quite an experience. We had okonomiyaki (Japanese omelette) and it was delicious~ :9 The interesting part came from the menu and ordering process. We were give a... black pen type of thing? At first we weren't sure what it was for, and the girls sitting at the table next to ours had to explain that, here, we were supposed to poke whatever we wanted on the menu and it would magically order itself... Oh Japan.

Also, Gantz was awesome. :)

Back at the ryokan, we were greeted with our own little tea session in our room. It was adorable and such a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, that's not something that translate very well into pictures.

Dinner was food on sticks. :) We went to this place that was basically a buffet. You take whatever you want, roll it in batter, then dip it in oil and eat it. :9

We wondered around. When we came back, they had set our futons for us. :) Had wonderful night!
