Ueno & Narita

Ueno is kind of like my home in Tokyo. I might have mentioned this before. I usually stay in Ueno so I've learned my way around.

This is my hayashi rice place. :)

Cherry blossoms! Yay! :)

And then stopping in Narita on my way back to the airport...

It was really windy that day and that big heavy fence fell down just as I was walking by. Scary!

The weather was pretty ugly, but it was my last day in Japan so I wanted to visit the temple and pay my respects... I like the temples in Narita and the grounds are pretty amazing.

So that concludes my second trip to Japan. I thought the first was the trip of a lifetime. Turns out I had a few more of those coming. :)

Next one: May 2015! :)

DisneySea

Months late, but I wanted to wrap up this previous trip before the next one...

First up, Disney!!

I went to DisneySea with my lovely friend and we had a blast. We got there early just when they opened the gate, then rushed across the park to get a fast pass. We were a little worried that it would be really crowded, but it ended up being great! It was busy, but not overly crowded, and it was such a wonderful wonderful day.

For lunch we had a Gyoza-dog, cause apparently that's a thing! It's like a hotdog shaped like a giant gyoza with gyoza meat inside instead of a sausage.

They have some pretty impressive setups. Everything is fake but it's easy to get fooled. I guess it's all part of the magic of Disney. XD

This one made me laugh:

And there were cherry blossoms!!!!!!! :) I got excited because I thought I'd be too early to see them.

So pretty! :)

It was a great day and I had lots of fun. We watched the show at the end of the day, then unfortunately my friend and I had to part ways. :( Still, we did so with the heart full of happy (magical~) memories. <3
